The Norris School District operates with a three trimester school year and a summer interim session; each with 60 scheduled days. As Norris believes in anytime, anywhere learning experiences, Flexible Learning Days are typically dedicated to Norris staff to engage in professional learning or program design. Learners are encouraged to continue with experiential and community based learning on thoses days.

Note: Norris recognizes the value that community-based learning experiences contribute to each learners individual journey. Learners who enroll at Norris through tuition placement with their home district may elect to follow the home district calendars for holiday breaks or other non-school days to accommodate family vacations or transportation challenges. In such instances, families are asked to communicate with NSD regarding a learners attendance.
