Welcome to Norris Academy!

At Norris learners are empowered to have high levels of (learner) agency by actively participating with purpose to build a deep understanding of self, and to co-design plans and pathways that unleash their uniqueness and develop the knowledge, skills and dispositions to pursue their passions and interests. Learners are given license to become socially embedded, self-aware, self-directed capable learners who have the self-efficacy (confidence) to act with purpose to achieve the conditions they desire and to reach their fullest potential.

Personal plans and pathways build learner agency and offer voice and choice, making sure each learner is invested in their education.

Parents as Partners

Collaboration and on-going communication with each learners family is imperative to the success of each learner.

Each Norris learner is assigned a Learning Liaison who is responsible for coordination of services and communication with familes regarding the learning experience.  Please contact your child's Learning Liaison with quesitons about your childs experience at Norris.
